1958年公社化时，村子归入下路大队；1966年以村名另设「大桥大队」；1999年改称大桥村民委员会，此名沿用至今。[2]

文化[edit]

2019年9月，村庄列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
