凤塘镇是广东省潮州市潮安区下辖的镇，在潮州市西面，毗邻揭阳市，与潮州火车站相邻。镇境北部有335省道安揭公路与广梅汕铁路穿过。全镇辖1个社区和30个行政村。[1][2][3][4]

1987年3月，凤塘区改设为镇；2013年6月，国务院批准撤销潮安县、设立潮安区，凤塘镇改属潮安区。镇内的文物保护单位包括廷宾公祠、东和苏氏宗祠、新乡仁美里等。[1][5][6]

历史沿革[edit]

清代，今镇域属海阳县大和都。民国十九年（1930年）这里曾属潮安县仁和区，十年后改归大和区，1946年又划入大和乡。[5]

1949年10月起，这里归潮安县第二区管辖。1955年5月，第九区改称凤塘区；博雅地名网另记1956年2月撤区并乡，1983年11月起恢复凤塘区之称，1987年3月，区改为镇。[1][5]

关于1992年前后的隶属，百度百科称1992年后凤塘镇划归潮安县管辖，博雅地名网则写作1982年前属潮安县。两说不同，本条目未采用其中任何一说。2013年6月撤县设区后，凤塘镇属潮安区。[1][3][5]

地理环境[edit]

镇境位于潮州市西郊，南与揭阳市接壤，与潮州火车站为邻。镇政府驻地在凤塘主村一带。安揭公路与广梅汕铁路自北部穿镇而过。[1][4]

经济[edit]

据百度百科，2011年全镇农业总产值为2200万元，农民人均纯收入为6312元；同年工业销售收入50.9亿元，工业总产值57.6亿元。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

镇内的文物保护单位以清代和民国时期的祠堂为主。廷宾公祠在玉窖村，为民国初年华侨谢廷宾所建。原本是三座祠堂相连的建筑群，东侧一座因甬莞高速建设而拆除，现存两座二进式祠堂。该祠2020年4月16日被公布为第四批潮州市文物保护单位。[6][8]

东和苏氏宗祠位于东和村与盛户村之间，由大宗祠、小宗祠和巨川公祠组成，年代跨越宋至清，建筑面积约3000平方米。2006年列为潮州市文物保护单位；2022年7月，广东省政府批文将其升为第十批省级文保单位。[6][9]

潮安谢氏大宗祠在玉窖村新市门直街，建于清代，2016年列为市级文保单位。陈氏家庙在南门村，同为清代建筑，2012年列为市级文保单位。[6]

新乡仁美里在新乡村，1911年由泰国华侨郑智勇出资建造，包括海筹公祠、荣禄第、后楼和智勇高等小学校旧址等，兼有潮汕民居与南洋建筑的风格。2019年4月19日公布为第九批广东省文物保护单位。[6][10]

其他文物有：林兜村的郑智勇墓，年代为1937年，2020年4月16日公布为第四批潮州市文物保护单位；东龙村的潮安万里桥，南宋建，2006年列为市级文保单位；和安村的和安寨，明至清建，2006年列为市级文保单位；洪巷村的信靠龙窑，1976年建，2016年列为市级文保单位。[6][11][12]

地名由来[edit]

相传唐代元和末年，谢氏创乡始祖来到此地，见一片清澈宽广的池塘，池中祥鸟群聚，便定居下来。有高人认为凤是祥瑞之兆，塘广而清则财聚，后代也会清廉，于是定名为“凤塘”。[7]

荣誉[edit]

2020年至2022年，凤塘镇连续三年上榜「2020年淘宝镇」「2021年淘宝镇」「2022年淘宝镇」名录。全国千强镇方面：2021年10月列「2021年全国千强镇」第704位，2023年10月列「2023年全国综合实力千强镇」第685位，2024年9月列「2024年度全国千强镇」第702位，2025年9月列「2025年全国千强镇」第712位。2024年3月，镇被命名为「2023年广东省卫生乡镇」；2026年3月，被认定为「广东省第三批“百千万工程”典型村镇」。[3]

人物[edit]

泰国华侨郑智勇与凤塘关系密切：1911年他在新乡村出资建造仁美里，其墓在林兜村。[10][12]
