历史沿革[edit]

1987年1月设立村民委员会，1989年12月改设管理区委员会，1999年5月恢复为村委会。[2]

人口与设施[edit]

村内人口为2170人，务农的1519人，非农人口651人（百度百科，未注年份）。[1]

村内设有小学、幼儿园和卫生站各1所。[1]

村域内的排涝灌溉设施中有胶水坑、顶庵山两座水库。[1]

百度百科的「下辖地区」一项列有洪厝埕、田下、向东、公厅前、垢坜凤奎。[1]

村两委在规划好的工业用地上建起东埔工业小区，占地74亩，有17家企业入驻；环城电子实业有限公司也是其中的规模企业。[1]

另有200亩蔬菜基地，每年产量约1200吨（未注年份）。主要农产品有沙果、芥菜苗和生菜。[1]

2004年的营收为6410万元，工业产值是4780万元，农民人均收入4510元。[1]

2019年9月，东埔村上榜「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）创建单位名单」。[2]
