石井社区是广东省中山市大涌镇下辖的社区，位于大涌镇政府西南面，辖区面积2020亩，原为旗南村下辖的三个自然村之一。[1][2]

居民为239户，户籍人口926人，另有流动人口1千多人。[1]

地名由来[edit]

据该村《林氏族谱》载，清雍正三年（1725年），林太发由镇内南村迁居此地。村中挖有四口石砌水井，居委会驻地又设于此，故名石井。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1949年以前，此地名为石井，并与卓旗山周边八村组成旗山乡。1953年，石井与南村、全禄合为旗南乡；1961年恢复石井之名；1963年与全禄合并，两地各取一字，称石全。[3][4]

其后，1967年改名红卫，1973年又称石全；1976年与全禄分开，恢复石井名称。1984年再与全禄合并，组成旗南乡；1986年全禄析出，石井重新设为村委会。2002年，石井与南村、全禄重新合组，设立旗南村委会。[3]

关于成立年份，博雅地名网的社区页称社区成立于2014年1月；其历史沿革页则称2013年石井村改为居委，设立石井社区居委会。[1][3]

社会事务[edit]

自2013年7月起，社区向全体居民派发粮油，每月每人可得一升油和15斤大米。[2]

2023年12月，社区获「2023年度中山市绿色社区」认定；2019年9月，社区列入「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）创建单位」名单。[1]
