新港社区是广东省中山市港口镇下辖的新型社区，辖内以商住小区为主。[2][3]

历史沿革[edit]

2021年7月，新港社区经中山市政府原则同意，从港口社区析出，设立新港社区居民委员会，至今沿用。[3]

社区名称的来由是：该居委会是港口镇新设的居委会，依照「新型社区」的定位而命名。[4]

地理环境[edit]

辖区约5.88平方千米。北界中江高速，南界木河迳路；西界兴港路，东界含珠滘沥（横涌）。[2]

人口民族[edit]

社区管辖范围内有28个商住小区和4个老旧小区，户籍人口20047人，常住人口68679人（博雅地名网概况页，未注年份）。[2]

社会事业[edit]

党群服务中心位于世纪东路1号，即保利怡方花园四期的184、185卡，建筑面积720平方米。一楼有办事大厅、同心园党群共建室和心灵驿站等，社区下设商住小区党支部11个，党员221人。[2]

2022年9月，新港社区被认定为「2022年度第一批中山市绿色社区」。2024年1月，它获确定为「2023年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」。[1]
