历史沿革[edit]
解放初此地归新明乡，1953年改隶十四区新联乡，1957年并入望牛墩大乡，1958年改由中堂公社管辖。[2]
1961年改隶望牛墩公社，并与官洲、福安合为三联大队；1963年三联并入横沥大队。1977年从横沥分出，称石排大队；1983年设石排乡，1987年为石排管理区，1999年改为村委会。[2]
地理与交通[edit]
村子地势平坦，水、电与人力等资源较为丰富。村距107国道约7公里，距广深高速望牛墩出入口约3公里，到沙田镇约15分钟车程。[1]
经济与建设[edit]
改革开放后，村内发展了电子、线路板、洗涤用品、纺织、五金等企业。2006年，村里在市台办的支持下兴建了一座1000平方米的娱乐活动中心，并建设灯光球场与小公园。2007年，村里利用贴息贷款扶贫资金建成约5000平方米的厂房与宿舍。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2019年9月公布的名单里有本村，该名单对应广东省2018年度的民主法治示范村（社区）工作。[2]
