先锋村是沙田镇下辖的行政村，位于镇的西北，东接横流社区，西临东江南支流，南面隔涌与一处住宅区相望（政府网站称滨江豪园，博雅地名网称海上海花园），北与杨公洲村相连。总面积0.16平方千米。村政府网站称，户籍人口2225人，外来居民约300人。[1]

先锋村是渔民聚居的村子，从事捕捞的渔民约400人，在册渔船79艘，村内保存着疍家文化。2025年，村子获评广东省乡村治理示范村。[1][3]

建设[edit]

村委会广场、三角公园和海鲜夜市街已初步建成，村内实施了主干道的“三线”整治，并完善了渔港停泊、消防安防和公共休闲等配套。[1]

村子计划依托疍家文化发展文旅，包括盘活闲置用地、改造老旧房屋、打造疍家主题文旅村落，以及建设美食街等项目。[1]

荣誉[edit]

村政府网站列出的荣誉有省级乡村治理示范村、市文明标兵村和美丽家园示范村。2025年沙田镇政府工作报告也记载，先锋村获评省乡村治理示范村。[1][3]
