和安村是沙田镇下辖的行政村，位于䲞沙岛中部，东与洪梅镇隔河相对，西濒珠江狮子洋，辖区总面积5.6平方千米。截至2025年12月，全村户籍982户、3599人，常住人口约5860人。村委会下辖茂生、西盛、新村、和安、东安、新涌六个原自然村。[1][2]

村名取意和平安定。早年附近的水上渔民以捕鱼为生，难以维持，遂上岸围滩筑田定居。1999年设立和安村委会。2011年至2014年间，村民陆续迁离䲞沙岛，住进䲞沙花园。[1][3][4]

历史沿革[edit]

博雅地名网称，早前有麻涌人与水上渔民在此围海造田、筑堤定居，因取和平安定之意而定名和安。土改时，中围、和安、大流三村一度联合成立沙乡；此后经历初级社、高级社、生产大队，1984年改设和安乡，1987年改为管理区，1999年成立和安村委会。[3]

2003年，省里批复的虎门港总体规划把䲞沙岛定为石化工业用地。2005年9月，村民开始整体搬迁，根据村政府网站的记载，2011年至2014年间陆续搬离，住进䲞沙花园。[1]

经济[edit]

村里盘活了904.9亩留用地，先后引进锦坤、瑞众和新奥调压站等项目。村集体还投资了若干扶贫项目，包括服装和仓储类的企业，以增加村集体与村民的收入。[1]

党建与荣誉[edit]

党员114人，设三个党支部。村内还有党群服务中心，并推行“双标工程”建设。[1]

2025年沙田镇政府工作报告称，和安村获评广东省乡村治理示范村。[4]
