黄村社区位于虎门镇北部，与陈村相邻，博雅地名网称该村清末立村，村民为客家语系的黄姓。2005年，它由村转为社区，成为黄村社区居委会。[1][3]

外来常住人口约7800人，而户籍部分为258户659人（2024年）。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

此村在清末已有。新中国成立后归北宁乡（北栅）管辖，其后一度划入远丰农场，1963年隶属北栅大队。1976年，它与陈村并为陈黄村大队，直接归虎门人民公社。[1]

1987年，黄村从陈村分出，设为黄村管理区。1999年，管理区撤销，改设黄村村委会。2005年，黄村转为社区居委会。[1]

迁入与生计[edit]

村地原为北栅陈氏族人的田产。清末，黄姓村民从大岭山的高牌、大迳等村先后受佃迁居到此，与陈村的住户同属客家语系，屋舍、服饰和生活习惯相近。[3]

村民的副业以柴、米和生猪为主。近年，镇村两级拨款修建了连接107国道的大道，并辟地招商兴办工业。[3]
