凤大村位于东坑镇中心，由凤鸣岗、大田塍两个自然村合并而成，村名取两村名的首字。[2][4]

名称与沿革[edit]

博雅地名网称，村址的始祖黄希圣于南宋高宗绍兴三十年（1160年）携子迁居凤鸣岗、大田塍。[2][3] 东坑镇政府网则记该村于南宋宁宗年间立村，距今八百余年。两说年代不同，此处并列。[1]

大田塍因村前有一条大田埂横贯而得名。博雅地名网另记有一则关于凤鸣岗得名的传说。[2]

此后村先后经历合作社、大队和乡政府等阶段，1999年改为村委会。[3]

现状[edit]

据东坑镇政府网，村域面积0.7平方公里。截至2025年底，全村有户籍人口827人、共326户，另有外来暂住人口约八千。[1]

集体收入以厂房租金、土地租金和投资收益为主，2025年村集体总收入726万元。[1]

村方称获得「广东省卫生村」，2010年1月获「东莞市卫生村」称号；此外还有「东莞市文明村」「市容环境优美村」等荣誉。[1]
