邵岗头村是桥头镇北部的一个村子，村子临着东江，与东深供水工程的源头相连，面积约1.5平方千米。[2][4]

镇政府网站载，截至2025年底，村内家庭户数363户，户籍人口1068人，辖区内有企业130家，另有工商个体户53户。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

据博雅地名网，明洪武四年（1371年）有邵氏一支到东莞任职，后在此定居，村名由此而来。此后村址几经分合，1962年自成邵岗头大队，1999年改设村委会。[1]

镇政府网站载，草头园与富都园两个工业区设在村里。村集体经济2025年收入约1659万元，纯收入约1415万元。[2]

博雅地名网概况页（年份不详）写道，村内常住的有876人，外来的则有1720人。[3]

村页称，邵岗头素有「文化之乡」的美誉，村民中考入全国高等学府的比例较高。[2]
