山和村位于广东省东莞市桥头镇东部，靠石马河畔，与惠阳区交界。横跨两市的省道S120与县道X245穿村而过。[2][4]

镇政府网站称，村址始建于明朝中期，因叶、陈、李、刘等姓和睦相处而得名山和。村内有山边、陈屋边头、湖唇屋等自然村。[2][1]

历史沿革[edit]

据博雅地名网，山和村解放初属东和乡，1958年公社化后称山和大队。1964年起与屋厦、岗头合并为三和大队，1979年才恢复为山和大队，此后改设乡与管理区，1999年改设山和村委会。[1]

经济[edit]

镇政府网站载，2025年村内有市场主体465家，其中工业企业122家。村集体经济2025年收入约2600万元，资产规模约2.5亿元。村内有多家重点企业，并引进了一座大型购物商场。[2]

山和村是省第四批「百千万工程」典型村的培育对象，近三年先后完成了村主干道升级、东门塘景观改造和三线整治等工程。[2]
