迳联社区位于广东省东莞市桥头镇中心区的南部，省道S120横贯全境。社区当地也称迳背，东邻惠州惠城，南邻常平，北邻博罗。[1][3]

社区内有凤凰亭、罗氏宗祠等文物，镇政府网站称之为「进士村」。社区地处东深供水工程的源头附近。[2][3]

历史沿革[edit]

博雅地名网载，迳贝村在宋代立村，村名取自迳贝岭，最初由大围、新围与罗屋三部分构成。1952年，迳贝村与叶屋、冯屋、骆塘合并，称迳联乡；此后经历大队、管理区，1998年设村委会，2005年改设为迳联社区居委会。[1]

社区下辖六个居民小组，分别是大围、新围、罗屋、叶屋、冯屋和骆塘。[2]

人文[edit]

社区内的文物有凤凰亭与罗氏宗祠，还有天主教堂和进士府。博雅地名网引用旧说，社区有「子孙五进士，叔侄两藩侯」之称，明嘉靖年间罗一道中举，其后官至刑部郎中。[3]

第二次国内革命战争时期，社区籍人士罗少彦在北京大学读书，后在红七军中担任政治工作，1934年牺牲。[3]
