村尾村位于横沥镇东南部，辖区总面积2.5平方千米。村子集先进制造、商贸服务、生态宜居与文教配套于一体，村内有碧桂园、保利花园等大型商住小区。[1]

2025年户籍人口1900人，家庭户631户，外来常住人口约3.5万人，规上及中小工业企业250余家。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

叶姓先人在元代至元年间（1284年前后）从茶山水埗头搬来老洋坪，原名村美，后来才改用现名。[2]

1953年，村尾与水边一并组成尾边乡。1958年以后成为村尾生产大队，1983年设村尾乡，1987年改设管理区，1999年才成为村委会。[2]

经济[edit]

村里高效供给400余亩优质用地，落地了怡合达、华庄等7个重大产业项目。截至2025年末，村尾片区规模以上工业产值已超百亿元。[1]

文化[edit]

村里的「何大仙诞」民俗传承300余年，每年正月二十举行巡游、醒狮和祈福活动；「凤凰粤剧」则常态化开展演出和青少年公益培训。[1]

民生[edit]

2023年，村里建成全市首家村级普惠托育机构。2025年，村集体每股分红7000元。[1]
