燕窝村在石排镇西部，离镇政府约6公里，北面与惠州的博罗县石湾镇隔江相对。村的东边是中坑村，南边为东莞生态园，西边连着茶山镇的博头村。占地约3.52平方公里，属丘陵地带，海拔约20至40米。[1][2]

村内辖南边、西边、水围3个自然村，以本地王姓居民为主。燕岭古采石场遗址位于本村一带，为东莞唯一的红砂岩采石场遗址。[1][3]

本地户籍624户，其中60岁及以上的老人390人，青壮年劳动力1196人，16岁及以下325人。外来人口约10200人。[1]

产业与项目[edit]

村内有企业120家，其中规模以上企业18家，亿元企业3家。企业以五金加工、汽车销售、潮玩制造为主。[1]

原大博士幼儿园改建为工业大厦，项目占地约8687平方米，于2025年初完工并引进一家电子企业承租。[1]

文物与历史[edit]

燕岭古采石场遗址早在明代已是大型采石场，所产红麻石为古代东莞重要的建筑材料。经数百年开采，遗址留下了深潭峭壁与“十八间房”“飞鼠岩”等景观。[1]遗址摩崖石刻为清光绪十六年（1890年）所刻。[1]

抗日战争时期，燕窝村的五仙潭曾是抗日斗争的一处地点，据博雅地名网记载，日军占领石龙后经常派出小股部队到附近村庄骚扰。[2]

乡村建设[edit]

2023年村里在南、西边旧村建成两处口袋公园，2025年又在安置房路口建成一个口袋公园，2026年建成村史馆。[1]
