中坑村位于石排镇西部，毗邻东莞生态园，全村面积约2.1平方公里。村庄的起源可追溯到南宋庆元年间，原名松坑，后因“松”与方言“中”音近而改称中坑。[1][2]

村内有中新工业园与民营工业园两个工业区，村集体2025年收入合计4015万元。村里的海仔湖公园每年三月樱花盛开时游人众多。[1]

政府网站记村庄建于南宋庆元年间，大致在1195至1200年前后；博雅地名网则记原名松坑，后改今名。[1][2]

户籍人口约2450人，村民以王、蔡两姓为主，王姓居多。外来常住人口约4500人。[1]

集体经济与产业[edit]

村内大小企业五十余家，行业涵盖精密制造、潮玩、五金、电子与家具，自成一套工业体系。[1]2025年村集体收入4015万元，同比增长12.46%。[1]

村内的海仔湖公园每年三月樱花盛开，吸引大量游客。村里建成美丽幸福村居一期，并结合明德醒狮文化资源与自然景观，打造滨水空间。[1]村内四座鱼塘完成了升级改造，并设有休闲步道与儿童游乐场。[1]
