茶山镇是广东省东莞市下辖的镇，在市域中北部，寒溪河（东江支流）流经镇域，下辖2个社区和16个行政村，各村社区名单见行政区域一页。[1][2][5]

镇名的来历，各书所载年代互有出入：镇政府网站的概况称南北朝梁武帝年间，历史沿革一页写作503年至515年，维基百科则作502年至519年。据志书，当时有僧人在铁炉岭修建雁塔寺，寺中僧人在山坡上栽茶，地名由此而来。[2][3][6]

历史沿革[edit]

明天顺五年（1461年），此地始设寨堡。明清时期地属文顺乡，归京山司管辖。[3]

1931年，广东省推行以县为单位的地方自治，全县划为十一个区，茶山归于第六区。抗战期间茶山成为半沦陷区，日伪政权一度设在京山。1945年日本投降后，全县改划为六个区，茶山归第二区（石龙）管辖，并设为茶山乡。[3]

1953年土地改革复查之后，茶山仍属第二区，1955年该区改名石龙区。1959年6月，茶山另设人民公社，自石龙乡分出。1983年撤社设区，称茶山区；1987年4月撤区设镇，茶山区改为茶山镇。[3][1]

地理环境[edit]

镇域东与石排镇、横沥镇相邻，南接寮步镇、东坑镇，西与东城街道相连，北与石龙镇相接，隔东江与石碣镇相望。东莞火车站位于镇域内，距东莞城区约11.5公里。[2][6]

镇域地势东北高、西南低，东西宽而南北窄，多为丘陵。寒溪河与南畬塱为两条主要河道，中部为旱地，山丘之间为坑田。[4]

面积一项各书口径不一：镇政府网站与百度百科作45.4平方千米，维基百科作45.1平方千米，博雅地名网作56.6平方千米。[1][2][6][7]

第七次全国人口普查以2020年11月1日为标准时点，登记常住人口219,333人。百度百科载其2021年末常住人口为21.97万人，户籍5.97万人。[6][1]

镇政府网站另载，按“二标四实”摸排，户籍人口7.2万人，常住人口则为37.3万人。两组数字统计口径不同，该网页未注明年份。[2]

原居民以广府民系为主，主要姓氏有袁、林、卫、卢、叶、高、卜、岑、彭、谢、锺、陈等。[6]

农业曾是茶山的经济基础。改革开放后，镇内发展商品农业，此后工业逐步增长，形成以玩具、制衣、电子、五金和食品为主的产业。[6][2]

镇政府网站称，食品饮料类生产与销售企业逾八十家，茶山是东莞食品饮料产业集群的核心区，并因此获「中国食品名镇」称号。镇玩具协会于2024年成立，会员企业超过一百家。[2]

2024年全镇地区生产总值为222.6亿元，比上年增长2.9%，综合实力位列全国千强镇第67位。[2] 百度百科载2021年地区生产总值为195.18亿元。[1]

镇内有京山、横江现代化产业园区，规划面积近3700亩，其中已整备土地近190亩。[2]

东莞站2014年1月4日启用，东莞轨道交通2号线也经过镇域。[2][6]

省道、东部快速路、桑茶快速路与生态园大道在镇域内纵横交织，茶横公路连接茶山与横沥镇。[2][6]

文化[edit]

南社村位于镇东南部，村内的明清古建筑群始建于南宋。景区介绍称，该处现存明清祠堂32座、古民居600余间，并保留古围墙、古门楼与古水塘。[9][10]

南社村和塘尾村古建筑群为第六批全国重点文物保护单位，建筑以祠堂、民居、书室与围墙组成，塘尾村另有明清民居268座。[8]

南社村于2012年12月入选首批中国传统村落，超朗村于2013年8月入选第二批。[6]

镇政府网站称，镇内有非物质文化遗产代表性项目11项，其中茶园游会为国家级项目。[2]

全国爱卫会在2020年7月确认茶山镇是2019年国家卫生乡镇。百度百科另载，省委于2021年6月把「广东省先进基层党组织」授予茶山的镇党委。[1]

镇政府网站提到的历史人物有叶永青、林光、谢遇奇等，并说罗氏家族在革命中有英雄事迹。[2]

维基百科载，元朝官员何真曾割据岭南，后投降朱元璋，被封为东莞伯。[6]
