村名的来由是村委会坐落在上深冲与下深冲之间。[1]
地理环境[edit]
村的东面与龙潭村接壤，南面与阳山县交界，西面与新民村毗邻，北面与南石塘村相接。村内属石灰岩地区，旱地较多，耕地面积2000多亩。[1]
经济[edit]
农业结构调整后，村委大量种植反季节蔬菜，效果较好。[1]
深冲村于2022年10月被评为「2022年广东省“一村一品、一镇一业”专业村」，产业是柑橘。[1]
