新墟村是连州市九陂镇下辖的行政村，位于全镇中南部，北邻高相村，西面与连南瑶族自治县的三排接壤。九陂镇政府驻地在本村范围内，全村957户、4259人，数字见博雅地名网，未注明年份。[1]
地理环境[edit]
全村共有14个自然村，其中有下庄、马头山、新建、新寨，也有卫东、万力夫、老丫山等。[1]
经济[edit]
村委的耕地约3811亩，地势平坦，土壤较肥，水源充足，属镇内的粮食产区。近年村里发展「石头猪」养殖与油茶种植。[1]
2022年10月，新墟村被评为「2022年广东省“一村一品、一镇一业”专业村」，主产淮山。[1]
