历史沿革[edit]

村委会设在连州市区西部，名称由此而来。该村先后经历互助组、初级社、高级社、大队、乡、村委会和管理区等阶段，1999年起定名为城西村村民委员会。[1]

基础设施与荣誉[edit]

2024年3月，城西村被命名为「2023年广东省卫生村」。[1]

2025年，城西上河、鹅公潭两地的污水管网长达5830米，检查井共160座，周边区域的污水收集处理能力因此增强。同年，城西村被确定为县级典型村培育对象。[2]
