严村是广东省清远市英德市连江口镇的一个行政村，位于镇西北部，距镇政府约25公里[1]。

概况[edit]

博雅地名网所载人口2871人（年份未注），辖23条自然村[1]。主产砂糖桔，也产笋竹，其中笋竹已成规模化生产[1]。

沿革[edit]

1963年，严村与小舍大队分开，大队址设在严村。1983年这里成为严村乡人民政府所在地，1986年改称村委会，1990年为管理区，1998年10月7日改设为村委会[2]。

荣誉[edit]

2021年12月，广东省爱卫会授予严村「2021年广东省卫生村」荣誉称号[1]。2023年5月，田心村被评为「2022年广东省卫生村」[1]。
