高洞村位于英德市下太镇东南部，东与佛冈县接壤，西与连江口镇相通，北与新联村相接。全村辖16个自然村、15个村民小组，共有1894人（博雅地名网，未注年份）。[1]

地名[edit]

高洞一名源于上洞片：村委会所在的高围村属于上洞片，村名因此定为高洞，亦称上洞。[1]

沿革[edit]

1958年，高洞与下洞两个大队合并为高洞大队；1983年设高洞乡政府，1986年改为村委会，1990年为管理区，1998年10月7日重设村委会。[3]

产业[edit]

村里有专业养蜂人9人，家庭式养蜂十余户，年产蜂蜜约12吨，是下太镇蜂蜜的主要产地。养殖场有56个，年出栏42500头（博雅地名网，未注年份）。[1]

荣誉[edit]

广东省爱卫会于2023年5月授予岭排村「2022年广东省卫生村」称号，岭排属高洞村。[1]

《英德市下太镇乡村振兴规划（2022-2035年）》把高洞村列为集聚提升类村庄，并以柑橘种植基地作为特色农业基地之一。[2]
