村名来自此地原有的一座保安庙。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1983年改设保安乡政府。1986年起称村委会，1990年为管理区，1998年10月7日恢复村委会建制，沿用至今。[1]

建设[edit]

镇里实施了保安村烂陂修复工程，并建设了保安村上下蓝陂。[2]

保安与三门两村的危房得到修缮，其中困难家庭11户受益。[2]
