石角村是广东省清远市英德市九龙镇下辖的行政村，位于镇西部，四面环山。全村辖26个村民小组、18个自然村。村名来自村委会驻地附近的一座石头山。[1][2]

地名由来[edit]

村委会驻地附近有一座石头山，俗称“石角”，村名由此而来。[1]

地理环境[edit]

村西边有菜坝大岭，海拔466米。耕地2729亩，多为石灰岩山间的洞田，其中不少是浅脚田与坡地。[2]

经济[edit]

村民率先在镇里发展蔬菜生产，种植红茄、节瓜、番茄、苦瓜等，形成蔬菜基地，全村蔬菜种植1200多亩，砂糖橘种植1000多亩。2026年，村里有农户参与木薯种植，广聚农业合作社与石角村等7个村委会联动，统一供应种苗并签订保底收购协议。[2][3]

历史沿革[edit]

1958年设石角大队；1983年大队改称乡；1986年乡改为村委会；1990年村委会改作管理区；1998年10月7日重新设立石角村委会，延续至今。[1]

新农村建设[edit]

2006年起，村里推进社会主义新农村建设：塘埪与根竹园等自然村陆续改造农房、建起楼房，两地后来成为九龙镇与英德市的新农村示范村。[2]

荣誉[edit]

2026年1月，石角村获评广东省第二批「百千万工程」典型村。[1]
