花塘村是西牛镇下辖的行政村，辖26个村民小组，以农业为主，种植麻竹笋和沙糖桔。全村797户、3736人。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

1958年设花塘大队，1990年改设花塘管理区，1998年10月7日改称花塘村委会。2004年12月10日，树山村委会并入本村。[1]

经济[edit]

村内麻竹笋种植约一万亩，沙糖桔约一千亩。[2]

村内设有花塘、树山两所小学，村级卫生站2间。[2]

文化[edit]

2015年3月，花塘村经司法部、民政部表彰，列入「第六批全国民主法治示范村（社区）」。2020年8月，花塘村列入「首批广东省“一村一品、一镇一业”专业村」名单，产品为韭菜。2023年5月，广东省爱卫会授予上塘村「2022年广东省卫生村」称号。2026年1月，花塘村获评「广东省第二批“百千万工程”典型村」。[1]
