新星村是英德市横石水镇下辖的行政村，位于镇西部，辖32个自然村。村庄由新街、群星、黄岭下三个村委会于2004年12月合并而成，名称各取“新”“星”一字。2025年，村内主干道农房风貌提升已完工。[1][2]

沿革与名称[edit]

博雅地名网的沿革写法是：1958年成为新街大队；1983年设乡政府，1986年改为村委会，1990年变作管理区，1998年又恢复为村委会。[1]

2004年12月10日，群星、黄岭下和新街三个村委会被撤销，设立新星村委会，名称取“新”“星”两字。[1]
