城西社区是英德市英城街道下辖的社区，属主城区，位于英德县城的西部。[1]

沿革[edit]

此地早先称马口，1998年马口被理顺为村委会，此前的1990年为马口管理区，1986年为马口村委会，1983年为马口乡政府，1958年为马口大队。之后设城西居委会，直至2002年7月15日改设城西社区居委会。[1]

2021年12月，广东省爱卫会授予城西社区「2021年广东省卫生村」称号。[1]

文物[edit]

功垂捍御牌坊位于白楼村西庙前一带，清同治十年（1871年）所立，3间4柱5楼，用花岗岩砌成。[1]

2008年，该牌坊由省政府列为广东省文物保护单位。[2]

近年工作[edit]

2026年7月，城西社区党委被清远市授予「清远市先进基层党组织」称号。[3]

2026年2月，社区党群服务中心作为“两社三中心”试点升级，对外服务面积由原来的150平方米扩大到600平方米；在英德碧桂园小区设约32平方米的邻里中心，在仙泉花园小区设党群活动中心。[4]

一村一策规划中，城西社区计划推动物流园、高塘中学等项目落地，并成立强村公司，推动集体经济专业化运营。[5]
