永和社区是连山壮族瑶族自治县永和镇下辖的社区，位于镇中心区，与镇内9个行政村相邻。社区名称来自镇名，镇名又出自旧时的永和圩。[1]

地名由来[edit]

此地旧称和睦村，传说明代时多姓村民杂居而能和睦相处。清道光十三年设圩，寓“永久和睦”之意，遂改称永和。[1]

文化[edit]

2019年9月，永和社区上榜「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
