城南村是阳山县阳城镇下辖的行政村，位于县城的南面，下辖12个村小组。截至2014年底，本村总人口523户2239人。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

该村1940年设保，之后随乡政府与生产大队的反复变动而调整建制。1987年为村委会，1989年一度改设管理区，1999年又恢复村委会建制。2005年4月，经县人民政府批准（阳府〔2005〕16号文），撤销麻地冲村委会并入本村村委会，沿用至今。[2]

地名由来[edit]

村委会驻地在县城南片，由此得名。[3]

荣誉[edit]

2024年3月，城南村被命名为「2023年广东省卫生村」。[1]
