四九村是广东省清远市佛冈县汤塘镇下辖的行政村，下辖7个自然村。村名与墟市有关：据百度百科，1860年前后设墟，墟日定在农历四九。2004年，四九镇并入汤塘镇，四九村委会同年成立。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

据百度百科，村庄的始建年代可追溯到明初，原名稳洞；约在清咸丰年间设墟，墟日定为农历四九。[2]

1953年此地划归佛冈县第四区。1958年改设潖江公社，四九乡为其下属；1961年另设四九公社；1983年改为四九区公所，其下设若干乡；1987年撤区改镇；1990年改为管理区办事处；1995年称村委会。2004年，高围与莲松两地并入，组成四九村委会，同年撤镇。[1]

人口与产业[edit]

博雅地名网记全村人口5282人，百度百科记为5142人，两者均未注年份。[1][2]

村庄以沙糖桔种植为特色产业，采用合作社带动农户、对接市场的订单农业模式。[2] 2020年8月，四九村入选首批「广东省一村一品、一镇一业」专业村，产业为砂糖桔。[1] 2021年6月，村内成立佛冈县首个村集体股份经济合作社。[2]

荣誉[edit]

2019年9月，四九村上榜「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1] 2024年3月，四九村被命名为「2023年广东省卫生村」。[1]
