北安村位于石潭镇西北部，离石潭圩约35公里，全村耕地均为旱地。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村名的来历：辖区位于白湾圩北部，故名北安。[1]

1953年称北安乡，1958年设北安大队，1983年改设乡，1986年设村委会，1989年划为管理区，1998年恢复为村委会。[1]

2003年6月，白湾镇撤销，本村改归石潭镇管辖；2004年10月，北建村委会并入本村，统称北安村委会。[1][2]

2019年9月，北安村入选「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]

地理环境[edit]

全村共28个村民小组，博雅地名网记为847户、4262人（年份未注明），村域面积约20平方千米。[1]

耕地面积1721亩，全部为旱地；林地25147亩，生态林23974亩，商品林1173亩。[1]
