黄坡村隶属阳春市八甲镇，村名出自清代蓝、杨两姓在黄壤山坡偏角处建村时所称的「黄坡角」。[1]

名称来历[edit]

蓝、杨两姓人家在清同治年间（1862—1874年）迁入黄壤山坡偏角处建村，称黄坡角。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1951年建乡，1958年转为大队，1983年改设乡政府，1986年换成村委会，1989年又成管理区。[1]

阳春市人民政府于1999年3月15日核准组建黄坡村委会，沿用至今。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2019年9月，黄坡村列入「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位」名单。[1]

2021年12月，黄坡村委会所辖的坎村被确定为「2021年度阳江市卫生村」。[1]
