山坪村位于三甲镇，为该镇的行政村。此地的开村历史可上溯到明代，据博雅地名网载，明洪武元年（1368年）有朱姓人家迁来建村。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

明洪武元年（1368年），朱姓人家迁来建村。清代，村中在山坪河边形成小集铺，即今山坪旧圩。[2]

此地于1949年建起乡级机构，1958年并入大队体制，1983年转设乡政府，1986年组建村委会，1989年归入管理区。1999年2月6日，阳春市政府依批示设立山坪村委会，名称延续至今。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2021年12月，山坪村委会辖下的热水村获列入「2021年度阳江市卫生村」名单。[1]
