高车村位于阳江市阳春市圭岗镇境内，为一个行政村，1999年设立村民委员会。[1]

地名由来[edit]

清顺治年间（1644年至1661年），有汉人在河岸设水车，提水浇灌田地，并在此立村，村名取为高车。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1951年设乡，1958年并入大队，1983年称乡政府，1986年改称村委会，1989年划为管理区。1999年3月4日，经阳春市人民政府批文，设立高车村民委员会。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2019年9月，高车村列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。2021年12月，高车村委会所辖的高车村获得「2021年度阳江市卫生村」称号。[1]
