历史沿革[edit]

1951年设乡，1958年改为大队，1983年改设乡政府，1986年转为村民委员会，1989年改成管理区。1999年，新明村委会获批成立，沿用至今[1]。

荣誉[edit]

2020年8月，新明村列入广东省“一村一品”首批专业村，主产蔬菜[1]。2026年3月，新明村被认定为广东省第三批「百千万工程」典型村镇[1]。
