历史沿革[edit]

村庄建于明景泰年间（1450—1457年）。村址在东山山麓，山间有一条形如井口的山坑，村名由坑口得来[1]。1949年设乡，1958年改为大队，1983年改设乡政府，1986年转为村民委员会，1989年改成管理区。1999年，井坑村委会正式成立，沿用至今[1]。
