历史沿革[edit]
村名因村委会驻务水口村而来。务水在1961年隶洲仔公社，是一个生产大队；其后依次改为务水乡（1983年9月）、村委会（1987年）、管理区（1989年4月），1998年定名务水村民委员会。[1]
经济[edit]
村有耕地1136亩、山林13394亩，地处丘陵山岗，耕地多为洞田，向来以种稻为主；近年发展速生丰产林，并利用山地种沙糖桔。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2019年9月，列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
