河北村是上洋镇的一个行政村，1987年改为河北村委会，1999年村委会恢复，此名沿用至今。博雅地名网将村中的河北港沙滩列为景点。[1][2][3]

历史沿革[edit]

1949年属阳江县第七区；1953年属阳江县第十八区南河乡；1956年划入上洋区，1958年5月隶上洋乡。同年12月划入儒洞人民公社，1959年改隶沙扒人民公社，并设河北生产大队。[2]

1965年改归上洋人民公社；1979年为河北人民公社辖地；1983年设河北乡，隶上洋区；1987年改为村委会，归上洋镇；1988年阳西分县后属阳西县上洋镇；1989年改为管理区，1999年村委会重设。[2]

荣誉[edit]

2019年，河北村列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。2026年1月，河北村获评广东省第二批「百千万工程」典型村称号。[1]
