周亨村的前身是1958年组建的周亨生产大队。1984年改由乡政府领导，1988年为管理区，1999年改设村委会。[1]

荣誉[edit]

首批「一村一品、一镇一业」专业村名单由广东省农业农村厅于2020年8月公布，周亨村以粉蕉入选。[1]

2022年1月，周亨村获广东省乡村振兴局列为「2021年广东省乡村治理示范村」的创建单位。[1]

2023年11月，周亨村位列广东「百千万工程」首批典型县镇村之中。[1]
