历史沿革[edit]
20世纪60年代，本村曾称和平大队。1961年和平村并入大陂村委会管辖，同年成立新垌生产队。1984年设立乡级人民政府，1988年改设管理区，1999年设立村委会。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2019年9月，新垌村列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
