白蒙村的前身是1958年成立的白蒙生产大队。1984年设乡级人民政府，1988年改设白蒙管理区，1999年设立村委会。[1]

2019年9月，白蒙村列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
