历史沿革[edit]
据百度百科，村落的聚居史可以追溯到南宋绍兴二十年（1150年）。[3]
1949年11月，阳江县撤保甲，北甘改为行政村，属塘坪乡管辖。1953年2月设北甘乡，1957年3月设北甘生产管理委员会，属塘坪公社。1983年2月设北甘乡政府，1987年3月设北甘管理区，1999年5月设北甘村委会。[1]
荔枝与古树[edit]
百度百科说，村中仍有古荔枝树，树龄接近八百年，栽培史已逾七百五十年；村里还有竹溪公园等资源。[3]
荣誉[edit]
2020年8月，北甘村（荔枝）列入广东省农业农村厅首批「一村一品、一镇一业」专业村名单。同年11月，北甘的荔枝经农业农村部审定，列入第十批全国一村一品示范村镇。[1]
2022年1月，广东省乡村振兴局把北甘村列为2021年乡村治理示范村的创建单位之一。2023年11月，北甘村进入广东百千万工程首批典型名单。2024年1月，北甘村获评全国示范性老年友好型社区（2023年度）。2024年4月，北甘村列入广东省第一批乡村振兴示范村创建名单。[1]
