历史沿革[edit]
1949年11月，保甲制取消，区乡制建立后，朋江划归朋江乡。[1]
1959年，塘坪人民公社设立，朋江为其下的生产大队，由管理委员会负责。1983年，塘坪区公所辖下又设朋江乡。1987年改为朋江管理区，1999年改设村委会。[1]
