地名由来[edit]

社区名与镇名相同。先民在宋窑遗址一带烧制砖瓦，阳江土音“瓦窑”与“雅韶”谐音，地名由此而来。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1993年，雅韶圩、大闸、沙塘三个村从五丰村委会分出，成立居民委员会，归雅韶镇管辖；1995年设立雅韶居委会，此后沿用至今。[1][2]
