日光村是东源县漳溪乡的行政村，村名来自村民对太阳的崇敬。[3]

历史沿革[edit]

村民敬重太阳、向往阳光下的生活，当地方言把太阳光叫作「日光」，村名由此而来。[3] 1958年组建日光大队，1983年为日光乡，1987年改为日光管理区，1991年改设日光村委会。[2]

经济[edit]

2021年9月，日光村凭借玫瑰产业上榜「第二批广东省一村一品、一镇一业专业村」。[1]
