井口村是东源县漳溪乡的行政村，与鹊田村、东华村、群星村等相邻，村名来自村中的一座古建筑。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
村名的来历与一座古建筑有关：站在东桃嶂山顶向下看，这座建筑的外形像一口大圆井，一半是屋舍，一半是水塘。[3] 村子在1958年称井口大队，1983年为井口乡，1987年改为井口管理区，1999年经县政府批准设立村委会。[2]
2019年9月，井口村成为「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位之一；同年10月，村子进入「2019年广东省卫生村」之列。[1]
