陈坑村隶属东源县康禾镇，为行政村[1]。

地名由来与沿革[edit]

陈氏先祖迁来建村定居，村址四面环山，中间有一条长坑，村名由此而来。村委会驻地的自然村也叫陈坑[1][2]。

建制上，1958年为大队，1983年改设乡，1987年改为管理区，1999年东源县政府同意设立村委会，此后未变[1]。

荣誉[edit]

2019年9月，陈坑村列入「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单；2021年1月，河源市文明委授予「2020年度河源市文明村」称号；2024年3月，获「2023年广东省卫生村」称号[1]。
