仙坑村隶属东源县康禾镇，是镇辖的一个行政村，位于县城以东约60千米处，镇圩在其南约12千米[2][3]。村落以叶氏为主要聚居姓氏，属客家村落，四面环山，保留八角楼、四角楼（荣封第）等客家围屋式古建筑，是康禾镇古建筑较为集中的村落[1][2][3]。

历史沿革[edit]

关于村名，博雅地名网的说法是古时有神仙经过此地，村名因此称「仙坑」；百度百科则讲述神仙驱散妖邪、村人改名的故事[1][2]。村落的始建年代说法不一：博雅地名网称始建于清代，百度百科称开基于明代，两者都说距今约400年[1][2]。

这一带先后设大队（1958年）、乡（1983年）、管理区（1987年），1999年东源县政府同意设立仙坑村委会，此后未再变动[2]。

地理环境[edit]

村落呈金锅形。濂溪河（也称康禾河）自南向北流经村中，最终注入东江。河的两岸各有一条纵向村道，村落沿这两条路向南北展开[3]。

名胜古迹[edit]

八角楼始建于1770年，由叶氏先祖叶本菘与其子历时16年建成。它原是四角楼的样式，后加筑护城墙与四座碉楼，才成为八角形；墙厚约1.7米，内设射击孔和暗道。2012年，它被列为广东省文物保护单位[1][5]。

荣封第又称荣封第围，建于清嘉庆年间。叶景亭与六个儿子请名师规划，1810年竣工，前后用了十余年。四角设角楼，内有房屋108间[1][4]。2019年，它被列入第九批广东省文物保护单位，同年修缮竣工；2021年4月，获评「2020年度优秀古迹遗址保护项目」[1][4]。

村内还有登云书院遗址，属清代古文化遗址，为「第四批河源市文物保护单位」[2]。

经济[edit]

仙坑村是康禾茶的主产地之一，村中发展了从种植到加工的有机茶产业链，并建有生态茶园[1][6]。

荣誉[edit]

村内古建筑的数量，据百度百科称有27栋明清建筑，博雅地名网则称有古民居20多幢、古墓2座、古井3个[1][3]。

2012年1月，村落获「广东省古村落」称号；2019年6月，村落列入「第五批中国传统村落」；同年9月，成为首批「广东省文化和旅游特色村」[1][2]。2020年8月，仙坑村入选「第二批全国乡村旅游重点村」，同月还入选首批「广东省一村一品、一镇一业」专业村（茶叶）。2021年10月，农业农村部将其推介为「2021年中国美丽休闲乡村」[2]。

2024年1月，村落被确定为「2023年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」；同年4月，入选「广东省第一批乡村振兴示范村」创建名单[2]。

村内不可移动文物近20处，其中省级文物保护单位2处，即荣封第与八角楼，另有市县级13处[7]。2025年，村落的聚落景观保护项目获「2025年联合国教科文组织亚太地区文化遗产保护奖」荣誉奖，该报道刊于2026年3月[7]。
