黄村社区是东源县黄村镇的镇中心社区，驻地在黄村圩，社区名称取自驻地所在的黄村自然村。[1] 社区早先在1987年曾设黄村街道管理委员会，1999年转为居民委员会，此名沿用至今。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1987年，此处设立黄村街道管理委员会，负责镇中心一带的事务；1999年改为黄村居民委员会，此后名称未再变动。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

镇中心东面富丽岗山顶上的黄村地区革命烈士陵园，以及陵园下侧的黄村地区革命历史纪念馆，均在社区范围内；陵园的情况见黄村镇条。[2]
