下坝村隶属柳城镇，村子上方原有一座水坝，村名由此得来。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

下坝村在1958年称大队，1983年改为乡，1987年成为管理区，1999年经政府批准设为村委会，直至今日。[1][3]

荣誉[edit]

2019年10月，下坝村列入「2019年广东省卫生村」名录；2022年广东省「乡村治理示范村」创建单位名单于2023年4月公布，下坝村在列；2024年4月，下坝村获列「广东省第一批乡村振兴示范村」创建对象。[1]

农业[edit]

据东江画廊乡村振兴示范带的报道，下坝村有一座无人智慧农场，报道称其为河源首个、广东最大的无人智慧农场，配备无人驾驶旋耕机、插秧机和植保机等全套智能农机。[4]

名胜古迹[edit]

下坝村有六处建筑列入「第三次全国文物普查不可移动文物名录」，均为清代古建筑，未定级：二房角屋在村内；杨氏宗祠、朱氏宗祠和四角楼位于下村小组；谢氏下低屋和谢氏宗祠位于山下小组。[2]
